Stefanie Wiegand from the IT Innovation Centre at the University of Southampton has written in the neo4j blog about some technical aspects of capturing provenance of experiments in BonFIRE. This work is part of data management support for experimentation, storing semantically enriched data about experiments that can be reasoned about and queried to, for example, determine what influenced the results or causes of failures/errors.
